and networking event system called “Speed-Dating for Business’’.

What Is SPEED-DATING For
BUSINESS
Speed-dating is an activity at the FAIR, where persons with focus to
the same business sectors or country or region, will meet each other,
at arranged time and location, and do business and exchange information
freely. At each speed-dating location you will business sectors at clearly
defined African regions and countries.
WHO WILL I BE MEETING?
You will meet businesspersons you choose to meet with
and with people who are interested to meet with you. At the Speed-dating
you will meet the following diversity of people;
· Small and medium businesses from African countries from countries
such as, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Zambia, Nigeria, Rwanda,
Ethiopia, Ghana, Cameroon, Mali, Dem Rep Congo, Mozambique, Egypt, Tunisia,
Morocco and other countries. Some countries as Uganda plan to bring
Trade Mission and business delegation to the FAIR:
- Small and medium businesses from the Netherlands
- African Diaspora business persons living in the Netherlands and in
EU countries
- African Ambassadors in the Netherlands (The Hague & Brussels)
- Dutch banking, finance and investment sectors, trade (import/export)
sectors
- Dutch and African ministers and senior financial policy officials
- Dutch Public and Semi-Public organisations as FMO, EVD, MVO Netherlands,
SENTER NOVEM, Chambers of Commerce, VNO/NCW, CBI, NABC, NCH, SANEC,
etc.
- Business and financial experts from Dutch ministries, ministries from
African countries
- Experts from international organisations as NEPAD, African Development
Bank (ADB), Africa Union (AU), PROEURINVEST/CDE
WHICH BUSINESS SECTORS
WILL BE THERE?
The Speed-dating meetings will focus to business sectors as - Investment
& Trade, Textiles, Transport and Infrastructures, Tourism, Micro-Credits
& Financing, Social Corporate Responsibility (CSR), ICT & Telecommunication,
Energy-Water-Sanitation, Carbon Credits (CDM), Branding, Education and
Knowledge, Maintenance, Agro-business
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY
MEETING ITINERAY?
You will receive some detailed information prior to the event, about
the following - the Speed-dating meeting itinerary, business sectors,
country and region. A more update information will be given to you on
registration at the FAIR
HOW MANY SPEED-DATINGS
MEETINGS WILL I HAVE?
There will be four speed-dating sessions, two each day (morning and
afternoon). You will be free to choice and participate in anyone of
your choice.
WHERE DO THE MEETINGS
TAKE PLACE?
All Speed-dating meetings will take place at special locations to be
designated at the FAIR. All meeting points will be located in this area.
FAIR facilitating staff will be on hand throughout to provide any assistance
you require
CAN I TAKE PART IF I REGISTER
“LATE” FOR SPEED-DATING AT THE FAIR?
If you failed to register prior to the event, you can still register
at the FAIR and take part in the Speed-dating. But you will have to
be patient for there may be some delays to fix you into your right business
sector. And if you have any queries about the Speed-dating itinerary
please make your way to the Registration desk, speak friendly to a member
of the FAIR Events staff who will be happy to assist you.
How to register for Speeddating
Are you a Dutch, African business person? Are you interested to meet,
network and match making with a business person from your own business
sector?
We are happy to invite you to participate in one or more of the speeddating
session during the fair on 25th and 26th January, 2005. Time and location
of each speeddating session will be made known when you are register
at the FAIR.Please send us through info@dutchafrica-enterprisefair.com,
the speeddating session you want to participate in Day 1 and Day 2.
