About 1000 different Dutch and African and African Diaspora businesses (small and medium enterprises) are expected to participate at the FAIR.
Trade Missions
African Embassies in The Hague and Brussels will participate, and some of them (e.g. Uganda) plan to bring an official Trade Missions to the FAIR. More info...
Business Stands
The FAIR is organized with Business Stands, and companies will present their business, products and profiles. The FAIR matchmaking Business Stand is the central activity. Different types of Stands will be available at the FAIR such as;

Speed-Dating
Speed-dating is an activity at the FAIR, where persons with focus to the same business sectors or country or region, will meet each other, at arranged time and location, and do business and exchange information freely. You will meet businesspersons you choose to meet with and with people who are interested to meet with you. At the Speed-Dating you will meet the following diversity of people;
- African and Dutch business sectors
- African Diaspora business in the Netherlands/ EU countries
- African Ambassadors in the Netherlands (The Hague & Brussels)
- Dutch banking, finance and investment sectors, trade (import/export) sectors
- Dutch and African ministers and senior economic policy officials
- Trade & Financing organisations such as (FMO, SOVEC, PROEURINVEST/CDE, ESSIP;
- Public sector business organisations such as (NABC, SANEC, Chambers of Commerce, NCH, MVO/Netherlands, SENTER/NOVEM, CBI, etc
- African Development Bank(ADB); NEPAD/AU;
- Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs & EVD/PSOM/PESP), and Ministry of Foreign & Development Cooperation
Quick Scan of your Business Plan
The FAIR has designed and will offer a special business event called “Quick Scan of your Business Plan Scan”. The Quick Scan of your Business Plan is an informal event at which businesses and especially business “starters” will be offered business advice by business and financial experts. African businesspersons will receive advice about trade and export opportunities to the Netherlands. Experts will be invited from Dutch banks, FMO, EVD, MVO Netherlands, African and international finance and business organizations. The Scan of your Quick Business Plan meetings will take place in special locations to be designated at the. FAIR. All meeting points will be located in this area. FAIR facilitating staff will be on hand throughout to provide any assistance you require.
